In preparation for ‘I Acknowledge’ I rolled 1836 balls of cow manure in reflection of the introduction of live-stock during colonisation and an acknowledgement of the colonisation of the Kaurna Plains in 1836. The resulting exhibition existed both as an Acknowledgement of Country and a manifesto of an emerging practice.
